Powder Coating

Welding by Law is able to complete the job all the way to the end with our powder coating and metal refinishing services. Powder coating is a process of electrostatically applying dry particles of pigment and resin onto a part. The part is then placed in a curing oven resulting in a continuous coating that is durable and non-porous.

Powder coating is a durable scratch- and chemical-resistant finish. Because powder coating doesn’t have any liquid elements, the finish will not have any microscopic holes in the paint; this produces a finish that has excellent corrosion protection which makes it ideal for items left in the elements. Powder coating provides superior edge coverage with virtually no drips, runs, or sags.

If your metal isn’t ready for powder coating, Welding by Law can also sandblast the surface, removing any rust, previous powder coating and paint, to give the metal a clean, smooth surface.
